Lisa Quintana's Quilts, art quilts, gardens and observations of the world...not necessarily in that order.
That is so cool! What is it and where did you see it?
This is at Old Lyme, at the Florence Griswold Museum. The artist installed these twisted brush constructions and is leaving them there to decay....at least I think the plan is that long. I will probably post some of the others, but they were really neat....although I suspect that walking along the shore line not far from here is where I picked up the deer tick which gave me the Lyme disease, but of course, I could be wrong. This wouldn't be tooo far of a stretch for you to go and visit.I keep on thinking of the Wicca (wicker) man and how cool it would be to set it ablaze...not that I would...but I guess I envision flames licking out and around the sticks....
