Plus, they make me feel so inadaquate!
But I'm very proud that I'm friends with such a talented and creative quilter :)Sunita Mohan https://www.blogger.com/profile/16395671437601246093noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5325768748891153243.post-89985512794395839152009-09-05T19:37:05.946-07:002009-09-05T19:37:05.946-07:00You make a good point. Instead, I should probably take a picture of a piece with a question in mind: is the piece done?Vivien Zepfhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10110439402332926588noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5325768748891153243.post-53083876671490124202009-09-03T13:25:49.813-07:002009-09-03T13:25:49.813-07:00On an older Blog post, Ruth Powers shared her Blue...On an older Blog post, Ruth Powers shared her Bluebird quilt which was submitted but didn't make it in. I find that not only is it important for taking shots of things I might want to make into quilts, but in laying out quilts....taking shots and evaluating them instantly makes it a perfect design tool to see things which can be improved.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15140675211931598431noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5325768748891153243.post-52979398027720684682009-09-03T06:53:57.655-07:002009-09-03T06:53:57.655-07:00I love the cardinal quilt...especially the way the...I love the cardinal quilt...especially the way the birch branches cross from one panel to the other...that's amazing!

Sometimes rejection gives an opportunity to see a piece anew. I submitted 2 pieces and only one was accepted. When I went back and looked at the photo of the one that wasn't accepted, the bird faded into the background too much. I didn't notice while I was working on it because I was too close to the artwork. I made some changes to make the bird stand out more and I think it's a big improvement.Pam Geisel - For Quilts Sakehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07209714611725110965noreply@blogger.com
